Shaykh Sirr as-Saqati Rahimahu Llah said “la tasahu ‘l-mahabat”, love is not authentic between two until one says to the other “ma anta illa ana" - "You are me and I am you.” You cannot be in love until you say to the other “we are one. You are me and I am you.“
